French the Dog needs a home
French is a beautiful Redbone Coonhound female about three years old, and weighing about 30 lbs. She needs a home where she can feel secure and loved, because she hasn't had the best start in life and lacks confidence. She has come a long way at Sarge's though, and loves to play with other dogs and is comfortable with the people she knows. We received this report from her foster mom: "...She is amazing! She loves playing with her new doggie friends at Happy Tails so much. French has a lot of energy, but not a mean bone in her body! She is so sweet, and she smiles for me every time I see her. French has also opened up with quite a few of the staff! She definitely feels more at ease with women, but I'm trying to help her with some of her fears. French is still nervous meeting new people, especially men, and in new surroundings... but we're working on it! I'm even trying to get her used to a clicker. I was wondering if you know if she's house trained. She's had some accidents inside at Happy Tails, but it's usually when she's nervous or excited."
